This dog is amazing.
If you want to experience zero-g yourself, the The Zero G Experience is selling tickets and flies out of Las Vegas. For a few thousand dollars, you get fifteen weightless sessions, each lasting about 30 seconds. I think you even get a dvd of yourself, and they’ll let you put m&m’s in the air and eat them like Pacman*.
*Pacman was originally titled Puckman, but the name was changed before the game’s American release. They were worried that people would scratch out part of the “P” to make it read “Fuckman”.
I’ve tried to explain what’s bizarre and mind-bending about the double-slit experiment to friends over drinks (the drinks probably didn’t help). But I just ran across a little animated video that does a good job, despite desperately attempting to be hip. So, Let’s Go Quantum!
You know those websites that replace your cursor? Usually it’s something annoying like a unicorn with a trail of smiley faces. This is not like that. This is great.
